Our pledge: we never work for insurers
- We don't sell to dental or health insurers, or to companies acting for them.
- We don't take investment from insurers.
- We never sell or share your office's data with insurers.
- We publish how much we recover for offices, combined and anonymous, every quarter.
Your data is yours
- Your office owns its data. You can export it at any time, and we delete it when you leave, except what the law requires us to keep.
- We use your data to do the work for your office: find, fix and track claims.
- Real patient data is handled only after we both sign a BAA. See Security.
Anonymous benchmarks, only if you say yes
With your written consent, we combine de-identified payment facts (insurer, procedure code, region, amounts, dates) across offices to show how insurers pay. No patient, office or dentist is ever named. A figure is shown only when it combines at least five offices. You can withdraw consent at any time.
A person approves everything
Owedex drafts appeals, corrected claims and letters. Nothing goes to an insurer or a patient until someone at your office approves it.
Pricing
- Founding offices: a 30-day pilot where you pay 25% of what Owedex actually recovers, then $199 a month for life. See Pricing.
- “Recovered” means money that reaches your bank account from a claim Owedex worked.
- Cancel any time; no long contracts.
What we don't promise
- The free check and any dollar estimate are directional. Insurers decide claims; we can't guarantee any recovery.
- Owedex is software and billing help, not legal advice. Insurer rules and filing limits vary; we label defaults “verify”.
- You stay responsible for the accuracy of your claims and clinical records.
