The free check runs entirely inside your web browser. The file you choose is read on your computer and never sent to Owedex or anyone else. Close the tab and it's gone.

Real patient data only after a signed BAA

• Before Owedex touches real patient data, your office and Owedex sign a HIPAA business associate agreement (BAA).
• Patient data is stored only with providers that have signed a BAA with Owedex (Amazon Web Services for hosting and AI).
• We collect only the fields needed to find and fix claims.

How Owedex is built to protect it

• Encryption in transit and at rest.
• Each office's data is walled off from every other office in the database.
• Two-factor login, automatic sign-out, and Face ID on iPhone.
• An audit log of every view and change of patient data.
• No patient data in logs, error reports, analytics, emails or notifications.

People stay in control

Owedex drafts; a person at your office approves. Nothing is sent to an insurer without approval.
